Is there still hope for the underdog from the underground?
Right now, Sami Zayn is in dreaded midcard purgatory. His absence from the recent Smackdown LIVE episode and Summerslam card tells us that WWE creative have nothing for him. Many fans believe someone as talented as he doesn't deserve this kind of treatment. When he does apppear on Smackdown, he's either engaging in a meaningless feud with Mike Bennett or jobbing to the stars. Sami may not be in a great position at the moment but there's still reason for fans to cling on to the hope that the underdog from the underground will one day become a world champion.
